AMDEX Wins the First CDC CIMS IT Infrastructure Contract

March 3, 2011, Atlanta, Georgia – The first IT Infrastructure Small Business contract was awarded to AMDEX under the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Information Management Services (CIMS) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle. AMDEX will provide Call Center Management Services to the CDC/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR).

AMDEX’s Call Center responsibilities include:
1) Routing messages and recording information using a variety of equipment and software.
2) Supplying basic requested information through standard verbal responses or transferring calls to appropriate automated voice bulletin boards.
3) Placing emergency calls to health professionals and agencies to alert them of important health information.

AMDEX President and CEO Devinder Singh expressed her thoughts in receiving the award, “This win, along with the opening of AMDEX’s Atlanta based office, demonstrates our commitment to serve the CDC through innovative and responsive Public Health IT solutions.”
