AMDEX Wins Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board (RATB) IT Support Services (ITSS) Contract

AMDEX Corporation is to provide IT services that will enable the RATB business and program offices to accomplish their mission objectives.

July 29, 2011, Silver Spring, Maryland – RATB promotes accountability by conducting oversight of Recovery funds to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse as well as foster transparency on Recovery spending by providing the public with accurate, user-friendly information.

AMDEX is tasked with providing IT services under three Functional Categories:
  • Service Delivery – A full range of services and products in support of developing, implementing, and maintaining technology throughout the entire lifecycle of a program.
  • IT Program Support Services - Services that encompass all areas of IT policy and planning including but not limited to strategic planning, performance management, enterprise architecture, and data management.
  • Independent Test, Validation, Verification, and Evaluation (IV&V) - Independent test, validation, verification, and evaluation solutions to ensure that all IT products and services meet RATB standards.

AMDEX Starts Work on AHRQ Health IT Web Portal

AMDEX Corporation is enhancing the AHRQ National Resource Center Health IT Web Portal to facilitate communication between researchers and providers.

July 11, 2011, Silver Spring, Maryland – The AHRQ Health IT Web Portal is part of the nation's strategy to put information technology to work in health care by developing electronic health records for most Americans and making health information available when and where it is needed.

AMDEX is tasked with three major components of the Health IT Web Portal, which are:
  • Developing multiple portals using Web 2.0 Technologies
  • Migrating the portal to an Open Source Content Management System (CMS)
  • Optimizing the portal for mobile devices
  • Redesigning the portal’s Graphical User Interface (GUI)

AMDEX’s extensive experience managing and developing web portals will be used to facilitate and improve communication between researchers by utilizing innovative technologies that will improve the quality of healthcare for all Americans while connecting researchers and providers.

AMDEX Wins Navy SeaPort-e IDIQ Contract

AMDEX Corporation has been awarded a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) SeaPort-e IDIQ Contract.

July 1, 2011, Silver Spring, Maryland – AMDEX Corporation, a leading IT services firm to the Federal Government, has been awarded the NAVSEA SeaPort-e IDIQ. SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA), the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the United States Marine Corps (USMC), and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst contract holders. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members.

AMDEX was awarded 10 functional areas within the Northeast, National Capitol Area, Gulf Coast, Midwest, and Southwest zones. The functional areas are:
