Singh is proud to announce that the Silver Spring firm has received the Department of Homeland Security’s Small Business Achievement Award for Fiscal Year 2008. During a Homeland Security Awards ceremony, DHS Director of Small Business, Kevin Boshears, noted that AMDEX received the outstanding recognition for its contribution in supporting Homeland Security’s Custom and Border Protection in meeting its critical mission to protect our borders.
AMDEX President and CEO Devinder Singh stated that “AMDEX is proud to be recognized by DHS and Customs and Border Protection. Our work in supporting one of the country’s most mission critical organizations is essential to our national security. We are proud of our work and we are honored to be recognized by DHS”.
AMDEX received the Achievement Award for its performance at Custom and Border Protection’s National Data Center (NDC). AMDEX is the prime contractor for the NDC’s computer operations. This is a 24/7/365 project to manage and run the center with a staff of nearly 100 personnel.
